Project Beta: Episode 1 – “How did we get here?”
(Camera moves through the leaves of the trees as the light from the sun shines through them)
*Duke appears on platform looks around cautiously, then goes to grab the sniper*
*Wolf appears underneath on the flood part of the level and grabs rockets*
*Tech appears next to a mongoose and drives it underneath platform/ramp*
*Lido appears on opposite side of Tech and grabs the brut shot*
*Duke and Wolf see Tech drive past them, they try following Tech and encounter one another*
Wolf - Freeze!
Duke- Hey I am not here to hurt anyone, I don’t even know how I got here. So just lower your weapon.
Wolf- How do I know you’re not lying?
Duke- Because you would have been dead by now
Wolf- Hah!
*Tech keeps driving over to where Lido appeared, and Lido shoots him with the brut shot flipping Tech in his mongoose*
Tech- Woah! Who are you? Why do you want to kill me?
Lido- I am Lido. I have no intension of killing you. Now how did I get here? (Angry tone)
Tech- I don’t know. I want to know the same.
Lido- What the hell is this?
Tech-Looks like they got this place sealed off.

*Tech and Lido walk off. *

*Tech and Lido approach Duke and Wolf in their argument*

1201= Duke
1202= Wolf
1203= Tech
1204=Lido

Erebus- We have a message for you.
(Female voice) -Subjects 1201, 1202, 1203, and 1204. You have been activated as part of a test. You are being tested on your ability to work together to achieve certain goals. Your only job is to pass every test given to you. Your actions or abilities will not be limited in any way. Do whatever is necessary to win and you will be rewarded. The two monitors you see are Kronos and Erebus. They are here to observe you and occasionally to advise you. They will not help you in any way during a test. Good luck.
Tech- I am so confused... tests? what do you do? how were we chosen?
Duke- Yeah why us?
Lido- So Kronos, Erebus, well one of you floating things. What are these tests?
Kronos- Consider yourselves lucky. We have a couple days until we can schedule a test. A test will consist of you four playing a Team slayer match against four low level enemies. Do not waste your time; get to know each other and work on team tactics.
Erebus- We will leave you be for now, if you have any questions, we will be around. We will still be watching out for of control behavior. Good day.
Wolf- Hmmm… well that’s messed up.
Duke- Not as much as your face.
Tech- Hey! You heard to orb thing, control your behavior.
Lido- I will just introduce myself then. My name is Lido.
Tech- And I am Tech.

Lido- Alright, nice to meet all of you.
Tech- Yeah, let’s start arranging our tactics, and start training.
*Tech leads them off, but Wolf stays behind*
